Mike was beginning his Sophomore Year at the University of Portland, working through an Air Force ROTC Scholarship in Electrical Engineering and had plans on becoming a Pilot in the United States Air Force. One morning, while working his carpentry job for a home builder, the radio cut to an emergency broadcast that an airplane hit a tower in New York City.
Within a month, Mike decided to pause his college education and ran to the recruiters office to enlist into the United States Air Force. He had a duty to serve his country and help defend us against terrorists attacking US citizens.
After some Active Duty time, Mike and Shan started a home remodel company and made it their mission to create a pro-customer, family oriented business that wanted to attract quality craftsmen to help build homeowners their dream project.
